Cultivation Assistant

Position Summary:

The Cultivation Assistant will work as part of a team following compliant standard operating procedures to grow high quality cannabis. Cultivation Assistants will take orders from their Team Lead and Management. This is a FT position; applicants must be able to work the occasional weekend day.

Responsibilities:

  • Performance daily maintenance checks to ensure equipment is operating appropriately
  • Maintain an orderly and clean canopy in the flower rooms while spotting for signs of plant stress or disease
  • Report any problems with plant health to team lead
  • Ensure irrigation is reaching each plant daily
  • Care for mother plants including transplanting, pruning, and irrigation
  • Take cuttings from mother plants and efficiently create batches of clones
  • Transplant and irrigate clones for vegetative growth
  • Transplant and secure irrigation components to plants in flower rooms
  • Trellising plants during flowering cycle
  • Harvest plants and properly load into drying racks
  • Maintain a high degree of order and cleanliness in the working and growing areas of the cultivation facility
Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Ability to take direction
  • Ability to follow operating procedures and work efficiently in a team setting
  • Maintain a good attitude with cultivation team in high-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Comfortable with repetitive work

Education & Experience:

  • Be at least 21 years of age and able to pass state required background check
  • Highschool diploma
  • Horticulture degree preferred
  • 2+ horticulture/cultivation/greenhouse or related experience required
Physical requirements: Candidates must be able to
  • Lift 50 pounds
  • Stand for long periods of time
  • Push/pull work carts up to 200 pounds
  • Quickly and safely use scissors or cutting blades

Processing Assistant

The Processing Assistant will work as part of a team responsible for the preparation and packaging of post-harvest cannabis. This includes curing, cutting, trimming, and packaging cannabis for sale. Processing Assistants should be strong attention to detail, be able to follow verbal and written instructions closely, and work at a steady pace.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Performance daily maintenance checks to ensure equipment is cleanly and operating appropriately
  • Maintain a high degree of order and cleanliness in all areas of the processing facility
  • Prepare packaging for various products
  • Hand trim plants correctly in preparation for packaging
  • Measure product/plants for packaging
  • Occasionally assist with the curing and harvesting
  • Other lawful activities as reasonably required by Company

  • Ability to take direction
  • Ability to follow operating procedures and work efficiently in a team setting
  • Maintain a good attitude with cultivation team in high-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Patience, flexibility, and discipline for routine

  • Comfortable with repetitive work

Education & Experience:

  • Must be 21+
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior work experience in retail, landscaping, or restaurant industry preferred
  • Must pass a state background check
