1. Which strain has the highest THC?

Many people lead with this question, but this doesn’t really get to the root of what they’re looking for. Instead, describe to your budtender what type of experience you are looking for. They can help match you to a product that will address your specific wants and needs. For example, if you are having trouble unwinding, they can help you find the right product with the right CBD:THC ratio.

2. What strains do you like?

This is a great question to ask, along with “What strains are the most popular right now?” Your budtender can give you some personal recommendations and let you know about the experiences they’ve had with different strains. To learn more about selecting the right strain for you, read our post “5 things to look for when buying flower.”

3. How is your flower grown? Is it organic?

You should always ask this question to make sure that the products you’re buying are top quality. At Sweet Dirt, we proudly grow organic, Certified Clean Cannabis, as designated by the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA). We make our soil by hand with essential nutrients and helpful bacteria, and for the safety and well-being of our customers, we never use any harmful pesticides, fungicides, waxy fillers, or bottled flavor additives. Every single plant is monitored and cared for throughout their entire lifecycle by our team of devoted and experienced cultivators.

4. How strong is this product?

Your budtender can help you understand the potency of the products you are buying. At Sweet Dirt, all of our products are la tested, so you can rest assured knowing how strong they really are. Your budtender can also help you understand what strains and products will work best for you whether you are just getting started or looking for something new.

5. How do I use this product?

Once you have decided on a product, ask your budtender for the best ways to use it. They can give you advice and first-hand experience on certain products. We also have some blog posts to help you get started with new things, like “How to roll a joint,” “How to use a pipe,” “How to use a bubbler,” and so many more!
